Virtual Silicon Co-Simulator (VSC)

Virtual Silicon Co-simulation (VSC) enables system software and driver running on any existing test bench, not just test benches made of Draco components. VSC has two parts. One that is integrated with the test bench becomes an RTL server, the other is linked with the driver becomes a client. The communication between the client and server provides not only generic hardware and software interactions, such as register and memory access, DMA access, interrupt, but also user-definable special services. VSC gives engineers the power of running and debugging ASIC system software and driver before the real silicon is realized.
